The legend of the Phoenix from Roman mythology symbolically resonates within our family here at the bakery. For us, the legend is a long time treasured reminder of how wisdom and self-recreation go hand in hand to create a peaceful, balanced, fulfilling, and successful existence. We also joke and say that the good pastries come from the ashes of the burnt ones of the past like a Phoenix that rises from the ashes!
